"This painting was inspired by a face to face encounter I had with this rather large fellow, well inside Denali National Park in Alaska. I watched this moose make its way across the tundra heading right for me hidden in the underbrush! Fortunately for me the moose decided to carry on with his day leaving me in a state of relief and the best moose photos I have ever taken."
